Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and temperature monitoring equipment
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation protocols in cold environments
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with inventory management teams for accurate stock rotation
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid California driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including overnight shifts
- No cold storage experience necessary – training provided
