Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload pallets using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect and organize inventory in cold storage zones
- Follow strict sanitation and food safety protocols
- Operate temperature monitoring systems
- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Assist with inventory rotation and FIFO procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to -20°F)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- No prior cold storage experience required
- Must pass pre-employment background check
