Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated/freezer storage systems with provided PPE and equipment
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, thermal gear)
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure compliance with food safety protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in -10°F to 0°F environments
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and cold weather safety procedures
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (-10°F to 0°F)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
