Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated sorting systems
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation in -20°F to 40°F environments
- Execute inventory control protocols using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold storage facilities
- Coordinate with quality control teams for product rotation and spoilage prevention
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Train on specialized cryogenic handling for frozen food products
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in refrigerated warehouse operations
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in sub-zero temperatures
- Proficiency with warehouse inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems troubleshooting
