Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units using provided monitoring equipment
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using mechanized tools
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols with provided PPE
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided)
- Inventory management using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize facilities and equipment per food safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments with provided gear
- Basic math skills for inventory and temperature tracking
- Reliable transportation to 1230 Industrial Way, Sacramento, CA
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with provided mechanical assistance
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (paid training)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
