Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Inventory management and stock rotation in cold environments
- Operate refrigeration systems under supervision
- Sanitize workspaces and equipment according to food safety standards
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures below 40°F for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to early morning/night shifts
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided)
- No prior cold storage experience required
