Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Operate refrigerated forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs immediately
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA cold storage protocols
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation in freezer/coolers
- Document temperature logs and compliance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments (0°F to -20°F)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
