Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (equipment provided)
- Monitor and document warehouse temperatures using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with precision handling
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols for food safety compliance
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards in all procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F (-23°C)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation to industrial area
