Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature monitoring systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining product integrity
- Monitor and record warehouse temperatures (maintain 0°F to -10°F zones)
- Inspect and sanitize equipment per food safety standards
- Organize inventory in cold storage using barcode systems
- Follow HACCP protocols for perishable goods handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (training provided)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- High school diploma or equivalent
