Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities using provided refrigeration systems and monitoring equipment
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products including frozen foods, pharmaceuticals, and biologics
- Maintain precise inventory control using digital tracking systems and barcode scanners
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage efficiency and product rotation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in cold storage, warehouse operations, or refrigerated logistics
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F (-18°C to 4°C)
- Valid forklift certification (will provide refresher training if needed)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
