Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature monitors
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks and maintain proper cold chain integrity
- Inspect and document storage conditions to comply with FDA and USDA standards
- Perform inventory audits using barcode scanning technology
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols in food-grade environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to 32°F) for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided on-site)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
