Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records in refrigerated warehouse environments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move temperature-sensitive products
- Monitor and document storage temperatures using digital monitoring systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for cold storage environments (PPE, safety harnesses)
- Collaborate with team members on loading/unloading shipments during assigned shifts
- Perform routine sanitation and cleanliness checks in storage areas
- Assist with quality control inspections of incoming/outgoing perishable goods
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
