Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer units
- Organize, label, and rotate inventory using FIFO principles
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct daily sanitation and facility maintenance checks
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and order fulfillment
- Document inventory movements using digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with team to maintain efficient workflow during peak hours
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
