Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures and humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Inspect and record equipment readings to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in temperature-controlled environments
- Sanitize work areas and equipment following HACCP protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations using proper lifting techniques
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F - 40°F) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
