Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect, organize, and rotate inventory following FIFO principles
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with safety protocols
- Document inventory movements and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain strict sanitation standards across all storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to all HACCP and OSHA guidelines for cold environments
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to our Bronx facility
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
