Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory counts and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling and product flow
- Document temperature logs, inventory discrepancies, and safety incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass company training
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
