Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload perishable goods
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counting using warehouse management systems
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report discrepancies
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols in cold environments
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for timely order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory movements and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-29°C)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong commitment to food safety standards (HACCP knowledge a plus)
