Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 30°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely handle and organize perishable food inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety inspections of equipment
- Assist with inventory tracking and warehouse documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Reliable transportation to Harbor Way facility
- Flexible availability to cover weekday shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
