Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold storage environments
- Inspect and rotate inventory following FIFO protocols
- Ensure compliance with food safety and OSHA standards
- Document inventory movements and facility conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging -10°F to 40°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
