Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for product loading/unloading
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods using digital scanners
- Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation procedures
- Sanitize equipment and work areas per HACCP standards
- Complete digital inventory logs and shift reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- 1+ years warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 40°F-45°F environment for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
