Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload temperature-controlled shipments
- Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA protocols for food handling safety
- Perform sanitation and cleaning of storage facilities per health standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in environments with temperatures below 32°F (0°C)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid government-issued photo ID and work authorization
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
