Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal refrigeration/freezer temperatures (-20°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO principles
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements
- Collaborate with team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to HACCP and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Willingness to work nights/weekends (flexible scheduling)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly with proper technique
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
