Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product handling
- Inspect and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely loading/unloading operations
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Prior food handling certification a plus
