Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated warehouses (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold environments
- Inspect and document product integrity using inventory management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive goods
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance
- Train new team members on cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory systems
