Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in cold storage zones
- Perform inventory management and stock rotation in frozen/dry storage areas
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with temperature-sensitive products
- Document inventory and environmental data using digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (OSHA-certified preferred)
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
