Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently move refrigerated goods
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Perform quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable products
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
- Execute proper sanitation procedures for equipment and facilities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong commitment to safety compliance
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
