Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature protocols
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (0-40°F)
- Monitor inventory levels using WMS systems and conduct cycle counts
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance standards for food safety
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
- Train new hires on cold storage safety procedures
- Collaborate with quality control team for product inspection
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in extreme temperatures
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts in 0-40°F environments
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems
