Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated inventory systems safely
- Inspect product quality and report irregularities to supervisors immediately
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Load/unload shipments using proper stacking techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory logs using warehouse management software
- Participate in quarterly sanitation and safety drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Valid state-issued driver's license preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus (training provided)
