Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer facilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product movement and storage
- Inspect, sort, and inventory perishable goods following HACCP protocols
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage in cold environments
- Coordinate with warehouse team for seamless loading/unloading of trucks
- Complete digital inventory logs and quality control documentation
- Participate in quarterly deep-cleaning and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
