Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-controlled shipments ensuring compliance with HACCP standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage efficiency and order fulfillment
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Support quality control audits and temperature monitoring procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
