Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Inspect and sanitize equipment to meet FDA compliance standards
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using proper stacking techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols in all cold storage operations
- Complete daily temperature logs and quality control documentation
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper technique
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in cold environments
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
