Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain strict temperature controls (-20°F to 45°F) in freezer/cooler zones
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of all storage areas and equipment
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols for cold environments
- Assist with loading/unloading temperature-controlled shipments
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
