Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital controls
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with forklift/pallet jack operation
- Inspect and organize inventory in frozen/refrigerated zones
- Adhere to HACCP safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Operate cold room equipment (conveyor belts, automated systems)
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Flexible schedule availability (nights/weekends required)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
