Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Execute inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following HACCP protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with strict temperature monitoring
- Document daily operational logs and temperature compliance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards for refrigerated environments
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
