Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products: Safely handle freight using forklifts and pallet jacks in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Maintain cold chain integrity: Monitor temperatures and document inventory conditions to ensure product quality and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock replenishment, and ensure accurate placement of goods in designated storage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding warehouse operations and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report any issues with machinery or storage racking to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in varying temperatures.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
