Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload freight onto and off trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing inventory within the temperature-controlled facility.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials efficiently and safely.
- Climate Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature control standards to ensure product integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items (up to 50lbs), and work in cold conditions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Training: Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
