Job Overview
As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that temperature-sensitive goods are stored and handled correctly. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly impact our operational success.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized goods safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock counts.
- Ensure the cold storage facility remains clean, organized, and within temperature safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 32°F) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Physically fit; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Willingness to undergo paid on-the-job training.
