Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Safely load/unrefrigerated products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels in storage units
- Inspect and sanitize storage facilities to meet FDA standards
- Collaborate with team on efficient product rotation (FIFO method)
- Operate cold room equipment and safety gear properly
- Assist with quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
Qualifications
- No prior cold storage experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Valid Hawaii driver's license (for equipment operation training)
- Basic math skills for inventory and temperature documentation
- Comfortable working in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to Nimitz Highway location
- Commitment to safety protocols and teamwork
