Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (OSHA-certified training provided)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable products and report discrepancies
- Adhere to HACCP safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (paid training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling (including weekends)
