Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F) with precision
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Inspect and maintain inventory in climate-controlled zones
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Willingness to operate powered industrial equipment (training included)
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- No prior cold storage experience required
