Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, sort, and store perishable goods according to temperature requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Participate in safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
