Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and manage inventory in temperature-controlled environments
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with proper certification training
- Maintain strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance)
- Perform inventory audits and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient cold chain operations
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to work in cold environments (32-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (for equipment operation training)
- No prior cold storage experience necessary – training provided
- Reliable transportation to our Tampa facility
