Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and organize temperature-sensitive products in refrigerated environments (0°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following OSHA and company safety standards
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Monitor storage conditions and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Adhere to HACCP and GMP protocols for food safety compliance
- Participate in ongoing safety training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments (4-6 hour shifts below 40°F)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- No prior cold storage experience necessary
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided)
