Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment with proper safety protocols
- Inspect and organize inventory using warehouse management systems
- Execute sanitation procedures to meet FDA and USDA standards
- Load/unload shipments while maintaining product integrity
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -10°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and temperature monitoring
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid Hawaii driver's license preferred (not required for training)
- No prior cold storage experience necessary
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
