Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control in refrigerated/freezer environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts in cold storage zones
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA sanitation protocols for food safety
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Monitor and maintain equipment functionality in extreme conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA-compliant forklift certification
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring
