Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage units using digital monitoring systems
- Inspect, load, and organize perishable goods with FIFO inventory management protocols
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated transport equipment (OSHA-certified training provided)
- Document inventory movements via remote tablet systems with real-time data entry
- Conduct daily safety audits and equipment calibration checks
- Collaborate with remote logistics team for inventory forecasting and order fulfillment
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance standards for food safety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site shifts
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper lifting techniques
