Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in climate-controlled environments
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Conduct quality inspections on perishable goods and document discrepancies
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment following OSHA protocols
- Collaborate with remote logistics team to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our cloud-based tracking system
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environments
- Valid forklift certification and pallet jack operation skills
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Basic computer literacy for digital reporting systems
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts during peak seasons
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper technique
