Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently move and organize inventory
- Conduct thorough quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all daily operations
- Utilize inventory management software for accurate stock tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics workflows
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance of cold storage facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-zero environments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends as needed
