Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain refrigerated warehouse environments (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits in cold storage conditions
- Operate automated warehouse systems and cold room equipment
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols
- Coordinate with remote logistics team for inventory updates
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Experience with warehouse management systems a plus
- Reliable transportation to Detroit facility
