Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect products for quality and compliance before storage/distribution
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance of equipment and storage areas
- Train new hires on proper cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in refrigerated conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
